The site uses localStorage and sessionStorage, which are not cookies: the data stays on your device and is never transmitted to me or to anyone else.

Both are strictly functional: without them the site would forget your language on every page and ask for the same password repeatedly. The password you type into the NDA dialog is never stored — only the flag above, which records that a correct password was entered.
To remove them, clear site data for this domain in your browser settings. Nothing breaks; the site simply forgets your preferences.
The form asks for your name, your email address, optionally the company you work for, and your message. It is submitted to Formspree (Formspree Inc., United States), the form service that forwards it to my email inbox. Formspree acts as a processor on my behalf and does not use your message for its own purposes. I use it to reply to you and, if we end up working together, to keep a record of how the conversation started.
I do not add you to a mailing list, I do not use your message for advertising, and I do not pass it to anyone else.
You can always skip the form and write straight to luismquintero16@gmail.com, which sends the message through your own email provider instead.
I do not send your data to these services. Your browser requests files from them to display the page, and in doing so they necessarily see your IP address, the page you are on and your browser details.

The typefaces used to come from Google’s servers, which meant every page view handed your IP address to Google before you could say anything about it. They are now served from this domain, so that no longer happens.
The site uses Google Analytics 4, which measures how many people visit, which pages they read and roughly where they are, using cookies and a pseudonymous identifier. It does not tell me who you are, and I never try to re-identify a visitor.
Nothing is loaded until you agree. On your first visit a notice appears at the bottom of the page with two equal choices. Until you pick one, no Google script runs and no analytics cookie is set. If you reject it, the cookies are deleted and collection stops.
You can change your answer whenever you like through the Cookies link in the footer of any page. Your choice is remembered in your browser, not on a server.
You can opt out with Google's browser add-on, with any content blocker, or by using the browser's Do Not Track and privacy settings.
This site is operated from Colombia and is subject to Ley 1581 de 2012 and Decreto 1377 de 2013 on the protection of personal data. Under them you may, free of charge: know what data I hold about you, update it, rectify it, ask for proof of the authorisation you gave, be told how your data has been used, ask for it to be deleted when there is no legal duty to keep it, and withdraw your authorisation at any time.
Write to luismquintero16@gmail.com and I will reply within the legal deadlines. If you believe I have not handled your request properly, you may complain to the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio.
Where the GDPR or the UK GDPR applies to you, the legal bases are: your consent for analytics, and legitimate interest for replying to a message you chose to send me and for keeping the site running securely. The functional browser storage described above is necessary to provide the service you asked for.
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.
Note that sending a message, or simply loading a page that fetches fonts or a video, may involve a transfer of data outside your country, including to the United States, under the receiving provider's own safeguards.
The site is static: there is no database to breach and no visitor account to steal. It should be served over HTTPS, which encrypts the connection between your browser and the server. Messages you send sit in my email inbox, protected by that account's own security.
One thing worth being plain about: the password dialog on the case studies under NDA is implemented in the browser, not on a server. It keeps the work out of casual view, but it is not a security boundary. Please treat anything you unlock as confidential, as described in the terms of service.
If the site starts doing something different with data, this page changes and the date at the top changes with it. There is no mailing list to notify, so the date is the thing to check.

Los dos son estrictamente funcionales: sin ellos el sitio olvidaría tu idioma en cada página y pediría la misma contraseña una y otra vez. La contraseña que escribes en el diálogo del NDA no se guarda nunca: solo el indicador de arriba, que registra que se introdujo una contraseña correcta.
Para quitarlos, borra los datos de este sitio en la configuración de tu navegador. No se rompe nada: el sitio simplemente olvida tus preferencias.
El formulario pide tu nombre, tu correo, opcionalmente la empresa donde trabajas, y tu mensaje. Se envía a Formspree (Formspree Inc., Estados Unidos), el servicio de formularios que lo reenvía a mi correo. Formspree actúa como encargado del tratamiento por mi cuenta y no usa tu mensaje para fines propios. Lo uso para responderte y, si acabamos trabajando juntos, para tener registro de cómo empezó la conversación.
No te apunto a ninguna lista de correo, no uso tu mensaje para publicidad y no lo paso a nadie.
Siempre puedes saltarte el formulario y escribir directo a luismquintero16@gmail.com, que envía el mensaje por tu propio proveedor de correo.
Yo no les envío tus datos. Tu navegador les pide archivos para poder mostrar la página, y al hacerlo necesariamente ven tu dirección IP, la página en la que estás y los datos de tu navegador.

Las tipografías se pedían antes a los servidores de Google, lo que entregaba tu dirección IP a Google en cada visita sin que pudieras opinar. Ahora se sirven desde este dominio, así que eso ya no ocurre.
El sitio usa Google Analytics 4, que mide cuánta gente entra, qué páginas lee y aproximadamente dónde está, usando cookies y un identificador seudónimo. No me dice quién eres, y nunca intento volver a identificar a un visitante.
No se carga nada hasta que aceptas. En tu primera visita aparece un aviso abajo con dos opciones equivalentes. Hasta que elijas una, no se ejecuta ningún script de Google ni se pone ninguna cookie de analítica. Si lo rechazas, las cookies se borran y la recogida se detiene.
Puedes cambiar tu respuesta cuando quieras con el enlace Cookies del pie de cualquier página. Tu elección se recuerda en tu navegador, no en un servidor.
Puedes excluirte con el complemento de navegador de Google, con cualquier bloqueador de contenido, o desde las opciones de privacidad de tu navegador.
Este sitio se opera desde Colombia y está sujeto a la Ley 1581 de 2012 y al Decreto 1377 de 2013 sobre protección de datos personales. Según ellos puedes, de forma gratuita: conocer qué datos tengo sobre ti, actualizarlos, rectificarlos, pedir prueba de la autorización que diste, que te informe del uso que se les ha dado, pedir su supresión cuando no exista un deber legal de conservarlos, y revocar la autorización en cualquier momento.
Escribe a luismquintero16@gmail.com y responderé dentro de los plazos legales. Si consideras que no atendí bien tu solicitud, puedes presentar queja ante la Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio.
Cuando te aplique el RGPD o el RGPD británico, las bases legales son: tu consentimiento para la analítica, y el interés legítimo para responder a un mensaje que decidiste enviarme y para mantener el sitio funcionando de forma segura. El almacenamiento funcional descrito arriba es necesario para prestar el servicio que pediste.
Tienes derecho a acceder a tus datos, a que se corrijan o se supriman, a limitar u oponerte a su tratamiento, a recibir una copia en formato portable, y a retirar el consentimiento cuando quieras. También puedes reclamar ante la autoridad de control de tu país.
Ten en cuenta que enviar un mensaje, o simplemente cargar una página que pide tipografías o un vídeo, puede implicar una transferencia de datos fuera de tu país, incluidos los Estados Unidos, bajo las garantías propias del proveedor que los recibe.
El sitio es estático: no hay base de datos que vulnerar ni cuenta de visitante que robar. Debe servirse por HTTPS, que cifra la conexión entre tu navegador y el servidor. Los mensajes que envías quedan en mi bandeja de correo, protegidos por la seguridad de esa cuenta.
Hay algo que conviene decir sin rodeos: el diálogo de contraseña de los casos bajo NDA está implementado en el navegador, no en un servidor. Mantiene el trabajo fuera de la vista casual, pero no es una barrera de seguridad. Trata como confidencial todo lo que desbloquees, según se explica en los términos del servicio.
Si el sitio empieza a hacer algo distinto con los datos, esta página cambia y la fecha de arriba cambia con ella. No hay lista de correo que avise, así que la fecha es lo que hay que mirar.
