This site is operated by Luis Quintero, an individual based in Colombia. Throughout this page, "I" and "me" mean him, and "you" means whoever is using the site. Contact: luismquintero16@gmail.com.
By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.
A portfolio of product, UX and UI design work, published so that potential clients, employers and collaborators can judge it. It is informational. It sells nothing, takes no payment and hosts no user accounts.
Unless stated otherwise, everything on this site, the writing, the layout, the interface design, the code, the illustrations, the images and the video, is protected by copyright and belongs to me or to the client who commissioned it.
You may read the site, link to any page, take a reasonable excerpt to discuss or review the work with attribution, and print or save a page for your own reference or evaluation.
You may not, without my written permission: republish a case study in whole or in substantial part, present any of this work as your own or as made by your team, use the images or video in your own commercial materials, use them to train a model you then sell, or resell access to the content.
If you want to use something, ask. The answer is often yes, and it costs one email.
Names, logos and trademarks of clients and employers mentioned here, including those shown in the case studies, belong to their respective owners. They appear for the sole purpose of identifying the projects I worked on, which is how a portfolio works.
Their presence does not mean that owner sponsors, endorses or is affiliated with this site, nor that they have reviewed or approved what I wrote about the project. If you own one of those marks and want a mention changed or removed, write to luismquintero16@gmail.com and I will deal with it promptly.
Four case studies — Dryft, Genex, Atelier Jolie and Banking App — cover work protected by confidentiality agreements with the client. They open with a password, which I share on request for individual evaluation.
If I give you that password, by using it you agree to:
The password dialog is implemented in the browser, so it keeps the work out of casual view rather than enforcing anything technically. That is precisely why the obligation above matters: the protection here is the agreement, not the mechanism. Deliberately circumventing the dialog, or accessing those pages without permission, is not authorised use of this site.
Search engines, answer engines and AI assistants are welcome to crawl the public pages, index them and quote from them with attribution and a link. The robots.txt file says so explicitly, and these terms are meant to agree with it rather than contradict it.
What is not permitted is wholesale reproduction of a case study in place of the original, and any crawling of the pages marked noindex, which are the ones under NDA. Automated access that degrades the site for other people is also not permitted.
I try to keep the site accurate, but it is a portfolio, not a record. Projects change after I hand them over, companies rebrand, and live products may no longer look like what is shown here. Dates and roles are written as I remember and understood them.
Figures and metrics in the case studies describe the specific project, in its context, at that time. They are not a forecast, a benchmark or a promise that similar work would produce similar results for you.
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability. It may go offline, break, or contain errors.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of this site, from relying on anything published here, or from any third-party site you reach through a link. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Reading the site, filling in the contact form or exchanging emails does not create a professional engagement, a contract, or any obligation on either side. Work begins only under a separate written agreement that states scope, timeline and fees.
Nothing here is legal, financial or business advice.
This site links to places I do not control, including LinkedIn, Dribbble and Behance. I am not responsible for their content, their terms or their privacy practices. Once you follow a link, you are on their terms.
I may update this page. The date at the top always says when it last changed, and the version in force is the one published here when you use the site.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia, and any dispute falls to the competent courts of Colombia. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not take away rights your local law gives you that cannot be waived by agreement.
If any clause here turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
