Transform the user experience when visiting a restaurant by turning the traditional menu scan into a more intuitive, useful, and interactive experience. The challenge was to go beyond simply digitizing a menu and bring real value to the dining experience.
How could we transform a static menu into an interactive experience without disrupting users’ natural behavior? We aimed to integrate new features in an intuitive and non-intrusive way, allowing users to discover more about each dish without adding complexity to their experience.
We explored the needs of the two main user profiles: those who create and manage menus, and those who browse them on their devices. We identified opportunities to enrich the dining experience with information about ingredients, allergens, and pairing recommendations, turning the menu into a tool that goes beyond simply presenting dishes.
We transformed the traditional menu experience into an intuitive and interactive interface. Instead of navigating a static PDF, users can select any dish and easily access detailed information about its ingredients, characteristics, and recommendations, making the process of deciding what to eat clearer, more dynamic, and more personalized.
