More culture & museum work

In short

  • What it is: an immersive website for a modern art museum, designed 2024–2025 for web.
  • The problem: the site had to say what the museum offers, and why going in person is worth it, from the first interaction.
  • The starting question: beyond the basics, what could a visitor discover here that they cannot elsewhere?
  • The approach: several interactive, visually rich modules that turn browsing the collection into the experience itself.
  • The role: lead product designer, with one designer and three engineers.

The challenge

Create an immersive web experience for a modern art museum, capable of communicating from the very first interaction what the museum offers, what visitors can discover, and why the in-person experience is worth experiencing.

The goal was to create a memorable first impression that would spark curiosity and motivate users to purchase tickets from the first glance. The challenge was to present classical works from a contemporary perspective, combining culture, emotion, and a modern digital aesthetic.

The approach

We started with a key question: what does a user really expect when visiting a museum website? Beyond finding basic information, what could they discover that would make this experience different? This question became the starting point for building a more immersive and experiential digital proposal.

We designed an experience made up of multiple interactive and visually rich modules, intended to capture users’ attention and turn the exploration of the artworks into an experience in itself. Each interaction aims to spark curiosity, facilitate discovery, and connect users with the museum’s content.
